“Exactly what you need” seems to be Xiaomi’s watchword in its communication around the Poco X3 that it has just made official in France, after an initial teasing a few days ago. The smartphone specifically targets the mid-range with an affordable, yet comprehensive product.
Design level, the Poco X3 is thus inspired a lot by the Poco F2 Pro positioned in a higher price segment. It includes in particular the round rear photo module housing four sensors. However, on the front side, we can see that the screen is drilled on the X3, while the F2 Pro opted for a pop-up camera.

Apart from that, we note in particular that the panel offers an LCD display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches at a 20:9 ratio and for a definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels. You should also know that Xiaomi is inaugurating the new mid-range chip from Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 732G which, as indicated by the letter after the three digits, is optimized for video games. The SoC is here associated with 6 GB of LPPDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage space varying from 64 to 128 GB depending on the version chosen.

Up front, the Poco X3 relies on a 20-megapixel (f/2.2) photo sensor to take care of selfies. The phone has a huge 5,160 mAh battery that will have the heavy task of not running out too quickly against the 120 Hz mode. Accordingly, be prepared for a heavy weight of 215 grams for dimensions of 163.3 x 76.8 x 9.4 mm. In addition, a 33W charger comes in the box of the smartphone which is powered by the MIUI 11 interface running Android 10.
Xiaomi announces that the Poco X3 will be available from September 10 on the brand’s website and stores, but also on Amazon.
The 64 GB model is priced at 270 dollars. The 128 GB version officially costs 318 dollars. However, the brand offers a small discount for the launch. On September 10 alone, the most affordable Poco X3 drops to $ 230, and from September 10 to 24 you can buy the better-equipped version for $ 295.
